Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's al Qaedi in Iraq terrorist organization has released a video of the beheading murders of two Iraqi civilians. The victims identify themselves in the video as Ali Hussein Jassem Mohammad al-Zubaidi and Ahmad Alwan Hussein al-Mahmadawi. Graphic Images from the video are posted below.
The video begins with the taped 'confession' of the two victims who admit to the 'crime' of being truck drivers for a Lebanese firm servicing a US base in Ramadi. After the taped 'confession' the two are taking outside where they are slowly beheaded with a knife. The beheading appears to take place on a sidewalk in broad daylight.

I just watched the video. My stomach turned. The Nick Berg video was horrible, but the quality was so poor that not alot could be seen. This is good quality video, and I wish it wasn't. The first guy to be killed, my God. How can you chant that God is Great (Allah Ackbar or however you spell that crap) while you murder someone? And this isn't the "fake" video that all the conspirasts said about Nick Berg, this is 100 bona fide murder, just watch it. But I can't find anything on the Mainstream Media talking about it. I even checked Al Jazeera's home page to find out if maybe there was an outcry in the Arab world. Nope. Nothing. Nada. Everyone is quiet about it except bloggers. Standard.
I am not even sure if I can eat dinner tonight, that is how queasy my stomach is right now. We must stop these animals or they will do this on our shores.

You may not be cutting people's heads off, but you're calling for the nuclear annihilation of a number of countries that are filled with people that despise these terrorists as much as any of us. No care at all for innocents who never had anything to do with the Middle East, the same as your dissmissive attitude for people in Iraq who never meant any harm to America, its allies, or its policies. I know it's comforting to call someone like me a "bleeding heart," but I honestly don't see how killing off a country's entire population would make America any less of a terrorist nation than, say, Iran or Syria.
And what would MY solution be? As if it matters. Knowing that a solution is STUPID and doesn't work is a good start, though. You want to put out a fire? Well, putting gasoline on a fire never made it go out - so why should we do the equivalent?
Regarding this mess in Iraq:
1) More up-front with the public as to the real nature of invading the country. Obviously it was known that there were no WMDs. If the Bush administration had simply gone to the public and said: "Ladies and gentlemen, the reality of 9/11 has shown us that we can't trust Saudi Arabia anymore. Given that, we must look for a more stable supply of oil from the region, or our economy is in perilous danger. We are planning on going to Iraq to depose a former ally who gave us the finger a scant 13 years ago. Iraq has the world's second-largest oil supply and we think that once we've secured it, your daily lives will no longer be in any danger." Or something like that. Maybe more countries would have been on-board, too, and the war would be much more winnable. But, they didn't, and it's now America's Chechnya.
2. More troops. Clearly the enemy was underestimated, or more of the country would be under control by now. And it doesn't really show signs of getting any better. Had more troops been sent from the beginning, trouble could have been quashed early on. Instead, things fester. Add to that the rushing of a pretty sad Iraqi army, and of course things are a shitmire now. At the very least, send more troops now to specifically engage the enemy, rather than only engage them on (what appears to be) a reactionary basis.
3. Get the Sunnis involved in the election. While I'm completely skeptical that this election will somehow, magically, make the violence disappear, the inclusion of the Sunnis in the election process would probably make some of the bloodshed go away. If you're going to have "democracy," you need to have a government that's accepted by the people. The Sunnis, for whatever reason, walked away from this election. Sometimes you have to give a little to get a lot. I'm not saying that the Iraqi government should have excused those who have committed crimes or anything stupid like that, but all parties need to be a part of this. I realize that this is easier said than done, but they're going to have to be a part of it at some point or it's not really "democracy." And a population segment that doesn't feel included will always harbor resentment, which can lead to many bad things.
Anyhow, as you can see, there are other solutions than "nuke 'em all."

To take a life in the name of God is a sin against God no matter how one attempts to justify it. That said, i find it deeply troubling that Muslim countries and leaders have not stepped up to publicly condemn these barbaric actions against all of humanity. I agree that these actions haven't occurred in a vacuum and that the USA's blind support of Israel and their willingness to ignore Israeli treatment of the Palestinians is what has fuelled these feelings of animosity in the Muslim world. My suggestion is rather than spending 100's of billions of dollars in Iraq trying to effect regime change...why doesn't the American gov't spend these funds on developing effective alternative fuel resources. That way we don't have to constantly be dragged into these miserable squabbles between Jews and Muslims...who ironically enough are both Semitic peoples.

Remember who started the war and it did not start in 2001. This war between the US and the Middle East has been going on for at least 50 years. The US inherited the European interests in the region after the fall of most European empires after WWII.
Much as US took over the French empire in Viet Nam and contiued the fight against Viet Nam independence, so to did the US take over the British and French interests in the Middle East.

What I suggest to everyone is to have compassion for what is taking place in Iraq, but by all means do not let it interupt your quality of life here in America. Just be thankful that America has been sparred any further violence here on it's home soil. If the Muslims want to continue killing each other in the name of Alah, so be it, as long as it happens over there. These people will meet thier end in due time. The best way to strike back is to keep America strong & its values in place. Keep your prayers focused on our troops. They are taking the fight to the enemy so they can't strike us again here at home. And if another attack happens here, then we will trade them a nuke for every suicide bomber.

ok i just want to leave my comments and thoughts on the situation. not here to flame, rant, call anyone an asshole, or doubt anybody's sexuality.
first off, i want to look at the iraqi people as a whole. The people that performed these monstrous acts should not be called human, thats correct. however, not all the iraqi people are expressing their hatred for americans in that way. i would bet my toes on the fact that there are probably groups of iraqi men and women who get together and talk about how much they hate the americans and how much they wish they would all just die. Yes, some of them sprout the balls to pick up a gun, go out, and try to assist in the resistance, but not all of them. In the sense of mindsets, they are just like us. Some dont care, some piss and moan, others go out and shoot somebody. Americans do the same exact thing. Some dont care, some piss and moan, and others JOINED THE MILITARY. True, as soldiers, americans dont CHOOSE to go to Iraq, but they knew the responsibilities that would come with the job.
Secondly, i would like to address some of the view points mentioned on this board and add my own. A couple of you want to annihilate a few countries, some of you want to "kill the ones that count", and i'm sure that there has been the occasional viewer who ended up here completely on accident and didn't give a damn. I agree with most, if not all of these view points, to an extent. I have had the feeling of wanted to "kill all the muslims" after 9/11 happened and immediately after the war on Iraq began mostly out of a fit of rage. One the flip side, i've felt like we shouldn't just go in and carpet bomb entire cities because there are, in fact, innocent men, women, and children still living in these locations. Just because they hate us and support the resistance does NOT mean we should just blow them all away, as long as they go about their ways in a non violent manner.
Being unattached to any religion, an extreme nationalist, and having a suprisingly small concern for the sanctity of life, i believe that yes, those who did this should die in horrible, twisted ways, and put through extreme pain and agony for what they did, but we SHOULD NOT kill the innocent. I myself would be personally willing to not saw off their head, but saw straight down the middle of it, starting at their face, but for every innocent that is killed their by our troops is a stain on the American flag, and will only cause more hatred in other nations against us. Yes, i admit, i am a bit sadistic and yes, i could live with myself everyday for the rest of my life if i killed those monstrosities by slowly lowering them face first into a meat grinder while I twist the handle. That is just how I am. Some of you might be thinking "that is one sick mother fucker", but i could sleep at night because i would know that those fuckers are no longer roaming the streets trying to kill OUR boys while they protect the freedom of America and the innocent Iraqi people. Kill the REAL infidels, not those branded by stereotypes, cut off their eyelids and grind their face in the sand, but NEVER in my existance would i condone the killing of an innocent creature, human or otherwise.

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's al Qaedi in Iraq terrorist organization has released a video of the beheading murders of two Iraqi civilians. The victims identify themselves in the video as Ali Hussein Jassem Mohammad al-Zubaidi and Ahmad Alwan Hussein al-Mahmadawi. Graphic Images from the video are posted below.
The story seems to indicate that these hostages will not be executed because of China's opposition to the invasion of Iraq.
